“…Beautiful Ivory Raven has traveled through Southcentral Alaska over the past few years becoming a fascination for winter residents. She is not a true albino as she sees the world through very intense blue eyes. She was born with ‘leucism’ causing her white coloration and in turn was repeatedly harassed by other ravens. Often she had a guardian staying around her offering some protection, which may possibly have been her mother. A rarity and highly revered in the raven world, ancient belief regards the ‘White Raven’ as a spirit animal, a blessing or good omen, often a bird of prophecy, protector and helper…”
